is it safe to deliver 2 wks early??

I went to my appt. yesterday. They told me my blood sugars have been good compared to many other people but that My amniotic fluid is measuring at 26. Which is too much. My baby is measuring 6 lbs 14 oz and they don't want her having problems during birth coming out when I deliver. They don't want me to be induced a week early anymore because she might get bigger and I might get more amniotic fluid so they changed the date to the 12th. I was due the 26th. I was fine w/ the 22nd as my inducement. But when the doctor that was covering for my regular doctor moved up the date I got a bit nervous. With my last baby, she ended up having to stay in nicu due after being delivered a week early due to her kidneys not being ready. I don't want my baby having to stay in nicu with complications. They told me she'll be fine. But It doesn't sound very promising. It's always different docs coming in...
