guys I'm scared

Hey guys I have a question.... I'm a FTM and I'm 37 weeks and 1 day and I keep having this really bad pains down there but it feels like when I use to have my period like period cramps.... they r starting to hurt a little more and more. I told my hubby but his like just take some Tylenol and maybe it will go away..... do you guys think I should go to the doctor and get checked out... I had a doctors appointment today but they rescheduled me since my doctor had an emergency he had to go to.... I really wanted to tell him how I was feeling but now I have to wait till Friday.... what should I do??
