Rolling Over??

Question

My son will be 5 months on the 9th and he's only rolled over once and he's stubborn and won't do it again. His doctor made it seem like he should be doing it by now and it upset me because he made me think he was saying he's slow on his milestones. When did your babies start rolling over?

Hmmm maybe my daughters a slow learner?? She just started rolling to the side but not side to side or get back on her own?? How's everyone's baby sitting already?? 😩 she will be 5 month tomorrow

My twins are 4.5 months. Eva hates to be on her back and rolls to front (only to then cry because she can't crawl) and has been for several weeks, but Owen has zero interest in turning over. He's perfectly content to just reach for toys and interact with everyone around him. Each baby is different. I think 4 months is the average to roll over... but it's not set in stone! Don't stress... I'm sure everything is just fine!

My son started at 3 months and was essentially sitting on his own at 5 months. Every baby is different but maybe consider getting your little guy checked out just in case! It's one of those things that you don't want to leave long if there is a problem. Good luck!

My daughter is almost 3 mos and has been rolling from back to stomach for a month or so, I think it's because she loves tummy time. I don't think she's gone from tummy to back on her own though.
