I don't understand why people are getting so annoyed by this. It doesn't hurt you to be more educated, you can still call your baby whatever you want, no ones trying to stop you. The point of this post appears to simply be to spread awareness over an legit point, it's up to you what you do with what you learn, but there's no point getting upset over being a little less ignorant.

That's literally the definition of biological sex. There is no other factors added in. And honestly, even our species doesn't fit that basic definition either.

But if people want to act as though gametes determine your gender then go ahead. It's just a bit too ridiculous for me.

I say gender because that's what comes naturally to me. Hes a boy. And im going to assume thats the gender he will identify with. Until my child tells me otherwise, that's what I'm going with
