went to L&D tonight 😖

I was having really bad back pains and leaking some fluid so I went to labor and delivery to get checked and they tried to do a pelvic exam and a cervix exam and I couldn't bare with the pain and I really want to know how dilated I am but I can't deal with the pain , is there any tips or anything  to help soften my cervix or to lower it ? Or to even make the exams less painful ??? 😖😖😖😖
