when to BD for ovulation?

Just confused when to BD for when you get a positive opk 
should you have already a few days before? Or the day of? Or how many days after a positive opk?

My hubby and I have always been more successful having sex a day or two before ovulation, but also making sure to have sex the day of or a day later also. That seemed to be our recipe for success.

As long as there's sperm on the way to meet the egg by the time the egg is released, should be good.

When you get a positive OPK it's good to BD that day, but generally within 6 days before you ovulate. I use this app, fertility friend, and Clue to get an idea of when those 6 days are! So by the time I ovulate I got some good BDing in. You can BD the day of and the day after ovulation but those won't be your best fertile days :)
