Is labor different for boys than girls?

I'm a mother of three girls, and for my oldest I had to have her without an epidural due to them giving me it too late and I was already ready to push so I had to feel it all !!! Luckily my second two pregnancies the epidural worked wonders. But now I'm on my fourth child and it's a BOY !!! And alot of people have told me that the pain is awful for boys. Labor is more painful ... so I figured I'd ask you ladies that have had boys and see what you all think !!!
