Ur not medically late until 10 days after ur period was due. You're period can be late for many reasons here are a few:

1. Lots of sex (if this is the case, u go girl)

2. Rough sex (as above)

3. Change in diet

4. Lack of iron in diet (not enough green veg or red meat Hun)

5. Pre-diabetes (get ur sugar levels checked)

6. Illness (body stress)

7. Stress (I recommend meditation or Yoga or maybe even just a chill night watching movies)

8. More exercise (body stress)

9. Less exercise (body relaxing)

10. Hormonal birth control (I.e the pill, plan b, the bar etc.)

It can be very difficul for people who try for years to conceive so while pregnancy is a possibility if you had unprotected sex, or there was a problem with your form of birth control, it is not likely you are pregnant. Remember I said not likely. Not impossible.

PMS causes the same symptoms of pregnancy. If you experience severe bloating accompanying your symptoms and pain I advice seeking medical help. If you feel you could be pregnant take a test at the point where it is 10+ days after your period. This reading will most likely be accurate. If you feel the test is defective or are unsure of the reading and wish to get a better reading, go to ur doctor. If you do not have a doctor, find your nearest drop in clinic.
