Iv just started to take st johns wort and found a few things saying it stops the implanon / contraception rod / implant from working does anyone know if this is true ?

YES IT IS TRUE. Up to 15% less effective. I have nexplanon as well. Stay away from St. John's wort.

I've heard that too so I decided not to risk it.
St John's Wort interacts with a lot of other drugs and medicines so you should always consult a doctor before taking it if you're on any prescriptions
