relationship help

Okay so ive been knowing this guy for years and we were friends off and on, and he has always wanted to date me. Just recently 3 months ago we finally started going out, it's a long distance relationship and we have not seen each other in real life yet. But for a while now he's been acting kind of different. He barely calls or texts me and he is always late or making some excuse. I don't want to acuse him of anything but i feel as if im not so important to him even of he tells me he loves me almost everyday. What should i do? If you guys need more info just ask me, thank you!
