Friendly sex education by unqualified college lady 😊
So ladies I see alot of people here making fun of other girls for thinking they are pregnant, but it occurred to me with abstinence only education in many parts of the US alot of girls just don't know.
If you have sex yes you could get pregnant.
If you had a guy cum inside of you, there is an 80 percent chance you are pregnant. You can take plan b, the sooner you take it the better. You do not need a prescription.
Condoms are great, the only method of STD prevention, but they break so be careful. Do not double bag (use two condoms) it messes with the friction and causes condoms to break. So does using lube that is not water based.
Birth control pills are great. You can get them for free most of the time. You can get a prescription and say you want them for lighter periods of you are scared to ask. You can also go to planned parenthood and get them there. Also online but I wouldn't trust that. Take it every day at the same time. Varying the time can cause it to be less effective and you could get pregnant. So does skipping days, read your pill pack info for details. Wait a month before having unprotected sex as it takes a month for it to be effective. You will experience pregnancy-like mood swings in the first month, you may also experience spotting. They do not prevent STDs and are 95 percent effective(more efficient than condoms) at preventing pregnancy if used correctly. SOME MEDICATION MAKES BIRTH CONTROL NOT WORK! Be careful and ask your doctor what medication will do this. If you take this medication you need to wait a full new pill pack to have unprotected sex.
Ladies be safe. There is not a method that is 100 percent effective, however there are ways to get pretty dang close. I have not mentioned other methods that require a gynecology appointment such as IUDs, or implants. Do not be ashamed of your ignorance as it is not your fault. Do your research from reliable sources. If you have sex than I urge you to be comfortable in talking about it to your parents and doctor. If you are not that may be a sign you are not ready. Also realize sex is made to get women pregnant, and this is a real possibility to happen to anyone.
