Husband and I have to put kids on hold ...
My husband and I (newlyweds!) were getting ready to begin actively trying to conceive as we have decided that we are ready for a child, but as of yesterday I was diagnosed with lupus, which is currently affecting my kidneys. I've now been put on medication to heal my kidneys which means we can't conceive right now. The doctors keep telling me/us "you're young, you have time" but it doesn't stop me from feeling somewhat inadequate. This man has wanted a kid from me for 7 years, lol ... now that we are older and married, I want to make his wishes come true.
Anyone out there with lupus or any other illness that halted their contraception?
