are ovulation tests useful?

I've never taken an ovulation test before, my partner and I are TTC after our miscarriage in July. AF just came today and I'm gutted 😔 so I want to try to increase our chances by knowing exactly when I'm ovulating. But I don't know when to take the ovulation test as stupid as that sounds??

Anything that helps you figure out when you're about to ovulate is useful IMO. Once I started using OPKs and tracking BBT I figured out that I was actually ovulating at least a week later than Glow predicted. I got pregnant after 2 months of tracking because I got the timing perfect. I highly recommend downloading Fertility Friend and starting the free lessons to teach you everything you need to know to accurately track ovulation if you're interested.
