Americans help...can you pronounce this name ?

Cáitlín
My husband and I are Irish living in America. When we still lived in Ireland and didn't really picture ourselves moving to America we decided that if we ever had a girl we would call her Saoirse. Well, now we are expecting a little girl and we are firm on the name Saoirse. But I was curious because a co worker told me her name looks and sounds "black" (he himself is a Kenyan immigrant) and he thinks people will have preconceived notions when they hear or see her name. Being Irish I see this as an Irish name in the language and don't even give it a second thought, but I guess since we live in america now and our daughter will be raised here things might be different ? What do you think ? Her name is pronounced Seer-sha.
