Any of you ladies have the Britax B-Safe 35 Elite Infant Car Seat?

I'm adding things to my registry and apparently Amazon says this is the best for baby car seats. Does anyone use it and how do you like it?

I bought it and love it. It is a little more narrow where the head goes so I'd assume it won't last the baby as long as most of the others. However the hospital recommended It for its safety features.

Don't have it but i decided against it while shopping because of a lot of reviews saying it's very narrow, it can technically safely hold a baby until they are 35 pounds but a lot of people said their babies outgrew it sooooo much sooner than that due to their shoulders not being able to fit anymore. I went with the graco snugride 35 instead.

I had it. It's horrible. The base separated 3 times with 3 separate replacements. Also, my boy was not big by any means and he was always sweating and seemed squished. We returned it back to Britax and received a full refund. That being said, we purchased the Chicco Keyfit 30 and I literally can't be happier! Plus, it's top rated!!

I'm getting the britax but not the elite. I read a ton of reviews about the elite version being too small and tight meaning you can't use it as long as you should be able to. It has to do with the added side impact (which isn't required and most Seats don't have) My car rates extremely high in side impact so we feel comfortable going without.

This is the car seat I have. I've tested it out once with my friends baby. He seemed to like it. I don't like that you have to use these adapters that come with it for the stroller. Its annoying having to put them in and take it off after each use. & I got last years model because this years model, doesn't have a foot rest for strollers but last years does. The car seat also doesn't fit into the top part of grocery carts like most car seats do.

We have it and love it!  Our son is 4 months and still has plenty of room and the car seat safety check went well - the technician commented multiple times on how great the features / positioning are.  I was nervous because of some of the narrow seat reviews but it works for us. No complaints!  We use it with an adapter for our city mini GT stroller.
