What does it mean when you only get faint lines on your ovulation tests?

ovulation tests?" /> This cycle I was testing 3 times per day morning,  noon and night and I never got anything close to a positive and now glow says it's my peak day and I'm only getting negatives whereas 4 days ago at least I was getting faint lines 😔 any advice is greatly appreciated thanks x

What CD are you on? I say keep testing. You may ovulate later than usual. I would not trust apps because it's just an estimation based on your cycle length which can vary even if you are regular. 
I would also recommend you to start tempting since it actually confirms ovulation whereas a test only predicts it (it can come out positive but does not mean you definitely ovulated). Also, tempting gives you a bunch of info on your fertility - including problems with hormones.

How can you miss your LH surge when your testing 3 - 4 times a day? Does that mean your surge while your sleeping? Wouldn't the test detect it the morning after when you wake up and test? Arghhh this is so frustrating!
