Pediatrician??

Question

When do you plan on contacting and selecting the pediatrician? I keep forgetting this!!! I have mine picked out I just need to call.

I already picked mine. Luckily the office I go to for my midwife checkups also has a pediatrics side and a dentist's office, all in one building, so I was able to knock out my first consultation after my first 3rd trimester checkup. It's so convenient! I'm 35 weeks currently.

I am 34+2 now and we had a meeting with ours two weeks ago. She offers a no charge new parents tour and meeting. My husband and I knocked it out on a day I had an OB appointment since she is just down the road from our hospital. It was great to visit the office before baby arrives, complete basic paperwork, provide our insurance information, and get comfortable with the check in procedures and facilities.We also met her nurse. I would say you can probably go ahead and pull the trigger whenever you'd like at this point!
