should I wait?

Did a post about being 7 days late but I forgot a little back story about my last period first of all my cycle is always 28 days. But September/October period started really weird and was spotting for 2 days before I got my regular period which made it last a couple days longer then normal:.. according to the app as of now I am going on 7 days late. Have had spotting today that could only be seen when I would go to the bathroom and has now stopped.. should I wait it out or test???
