Let's get some things straight. 
GENDER is socially constructed idea and is representative of how you identify.
SEX is based on what's between your legs. 
CIS WOMEN were born with a vagina, and identify as a woman. 
CIS MEN were born with a penis, and identify as a man.
MTF is a person who was born with a penis who transitioned to a woman.
FTM is a person who was born with a vagina and transitioned into a man. 
Your sexual preference is unrelated to your gender or sex. 
You can also be romantically attracted to one sex OR gender without being sexuality attracted to them and vice versa.

I agree with the woman because gender and sex are two different things. You can be a boy with a vagina or a girl with a penis. I just use whatever pronouns they like and don't question them, because I think it's really invasive to ask strangers about what genitals they have in accordance to their gender.

Sex is: "male" and "female"/ penis and vagina

Gender is: "man" and "woman"

But yes, sex is based on sex organs. Gender is based on identity and preference. I don't have a problem with acknowledging whatever gender you identify as.

Your genitals do not define your gender, it is an entirely accurate statement. What your genitals do define (bar the few rare variations) is your chromosomal sex. Gender and Sex are entirely different ideas. You can have a Y chromosome and therefore be male in sex, but not identify with the male gender. Gender is about identity, sex is about genetics.

Why are we confusing these kids so much? If you have a vagina you're a woman and a penis you're male? It's only science. Yes people are born with both but that's rare cases. It's okay to be gay or trans or whatever and be called a man or a woman but you WERE born either one. And in some rare cases both. But that's just science.
