my new fur baby

This is Tanner, he's a Labrador and pit bull mix. He's only 8 weeks old and I found him this weekend at a shelter and fell in love with him instantly. Him and his liter were abandoned after their owners got evicted from the apartment they were living in and they were found all alone and they were covered in fleas and they all had tape worm. I knew I had to rescue atleast one of them and it was him. I met him Saturday and he wasn't ready to be adopted until Tuesday morning. So I waited outside of the shelter for an hour before they opened so I could get him as soon as possible. By the time they opened there were already tons of people waiting outside for the rest of the puppies. Every puppy was adopted luckily and I couldn't be happier with my new baby. He's so sweet and loves everyone. I know this is unrelated to most of the stuff talked about on here but I felt like I should post this to maybe show how important it is to adopt animals from shelters instead of breeding.
