implant issues
Hey everyone!
New to glow but really enjoying the app so far, I have a quick question I was hoping people could help me get the answer for.
I've been on the implant since 2012 and it ran out around 18 months ago. I finally got the implant removed about two weeks ago and I was just wondering how long it takes for the menstrual cycle to get back to normal.
Throughout the implant my periods became non existent. Only around three or four times in the whole four years of having it did I have a period and these where really irregular and lasted a long time.
I just really want my cycle to get back to normal so I can start tracking my ovulation/fertility and periods properly so I can use natural birth control methods.
Been with my boyfriend for 3.5 years this week and we aren't exactly trying for a baby but if it came about it wouldn't exactly be the worst thing that would happen. We are both excited to start our own family, I'm just finishing off my final year at university and he has a full time job, he has his own car and we are on our way to getting our own place as soon as I finish university in may.
If someone could help or have any advice about their experience with implant/ implanting that would be so helpful!
