pregnancy test

My period has always been irregular in fact I didn't start my period until I was 16 and the only reason that I started was because I was put on birth control to make it start. Well now I'm 29 and ever since I got married (12-20-14) my period has been regular and I have not missed one since then. Last month I started using fertility oil and me and my husband tried to keep up with ovulation and made sure that we had sex at least 2-3 times per day while I was ovulating. My period usually starts between the 27th-29th and its November 3rd and I have not started so I took a test on Tuesday and it was negative so do y'all think I could be pregnant and I just took the test too early
