my boyfriend got locked up last night and was transferred over to the emergency department at our local hospital because he's under suicide watch for threatening to kill himself and trying to hurt himself in the cell. When i called the jail he's in they stated that he's under their custody but once i called the hospital the patient information lady told me that he's in the emergency department right now. Because he was being transferred from a jail to the hospital she's not sure if i can visit him. The only way is to be transferred to the emergency department himself. The guy who answered the phone was really really rude and refused to disclose any information. I just wanna know if i go up to the hospital right now will i be able to see him, since he's under police custody i'm not sure. I live in the state of maryland.
