My mother in law is starting to get on my nerves. She is so obsessed with the fact we're having a baby that I seriously think she thinks we're having one just for her. She tries to tell me what decisions I'm going to make like delayed cord clamping, not bathing the baby for at least 24 hours, circumsision, etc. Which I personally don't have anything against and am choosing to do those things. (And no, I don't care to hear your opinions on those topics) but those are mine and her sons decisions to make and she tries to shove them down our throats without even asking how we feel about them. Also my ob wants to discuss induction if I go past my due date which is in 4 days. I'm all for it. Let's get this baby out. But my mil thinks that because she wants the baby's birthday to be on her mom's bday that I'm supposed to turn down the induction for her. Annnd every time I say I want no one extra in the room with us, not even my own mom, she tells us to stfu. That we "need" her. I'm not even allowed to say no. She won't let me without making me feel bad about it.
