Can someone please explain this? I took an ovulation test last night with clear blue digital. Showed my first smily face of the month, so we did bd. this morning showed negative. Is that how it goes?? Just for a very short time showing a positive and then right back to negatives? Someone help me understand please!

Yes, surges can be very quick, I missed my suge two months in a row, my third month I tested a.m and p.m and finally caught it and that same month we got our BFP!!

Did you take any the day before the smiley face? You could have started ovulating the day before or morning. You ovulate 12-36 hours after the surge. Maybe you just have a quick surge?
