I hope this isn't true!!!! UPDATE!!!
So I had a appoinment with my OB yesterday , went in and the first thing the doc tells me is your blood work results came in and your baby tested positive for Down syndrome !!!! I started crying!!!! I couldn't believe it!!! She also told me it can be a false positive !! So I'm trying my best to stay positive that my baby is healthy!!
I have a anatomy scan tomorrow and I have to let them know if I can get an amino test or further testing to see if it's true !!!
Have any of you heard about this blood test being positive but baby turns out ok???
Me and my husband have no family history of this!! Please keep us in your prayers
UPDATE; so I went in today had counseling , I got a genetic test done, and on the anatonomy scan tech said they didn't see any major abnormalities, they do question some little parts and that baby is small for the weeks I have but they also said it can be that the due date is wrong (since I MC and didn't have a period in between) so I go back in two weeks to get the genetic results and to get more ultrasound!! I have faith my baby is healthy ... also I was told it's a girl but I'm not convinced ...
