Me and one of my guy friends are getting really close and I want to have sex with him. I am just wondering if I should text him And say something like do you want to have sex with me or just go to his house and kiss him and see where it goes from there? Any advice or ideas? Please comment

Ive been in this situation and they guy and I had been pretty close for several years and one day I just came out and asked him if he wanted to hook up one day and as a guy of course he did. But even after that we remained extremely close friends but had the FWB thing going on. And we had that conversation on how our FWB relationship would work out and that we could still talk to and date people. We couldn't ourselves in a serious relationship with each other but we were sexually attracted to each other. We had been friends for so long that it wasnt awkward or uncomfortable either. Like its kinda odd because it was me the guy and our 3 other friends and they all knew what was going on between us. We were all THAT close. And when we matured a bit we had another conversation about how we both had found someone we wanted to commit to and it was over. AND we are still very close, talk to each other about everything still and we don't bring up our FWB relationship. Because thats all it was, a benefit.

All in all, if you are good friends with this guy and you would like to stay friends I suggest that you dont do it if you cant separate your emotions. Its a very sensitive thing and very easy for someone to get hurt. But it really does depend on the dynamics of yalls relationship with one another. Im the kind of person that will say what I want wHen I want how I want. If you feel like you can handle it the go for it! Have fun be free if anything you'll learn so much about yourself.

Side note: my FWB relationship went in for about a year and some change. I was 20 at the time. And now im 22.

I wouldn't just have sex with a best friend. If I wanted our relationship to be more than friendship that would be one thing but I don't understand friends with benefits. I wouldn't want to risk a friendship I value that much for just sex. If I had a truly close friendship with a guy I was sexually  attracted to I would probably want to date him. That's my personal view but you should do whatever you feel comfortable with.
