So I called my insurance company today to confirm that I will be charged an out of pocket fee of $500 per day that I'm in the hospital. That does not include the doctors fees or the fees for the baby. There are also other miscellaneous fees. I'm having a c section so I might be in for 3 or 4 days. I already told my doctor i do not plan to be there for 4 days. I told my husband that as soon as the baby is born we should escape from the hospital, lol. He's like yeah just hold your stomach up and we'll make a run for it!
