My dad smoked while I grew up. Lead to him not caring, and eventually got addicted to meth. So if doing drugs is more important than your child, you'd be better off not having them.

I have a 3.6 in collage
My husband is the supervisor at a big lanscaping company
My 7yr old is bilingual
My three yr old is past advance.
Im not sure how weed effects my motherhood?

Growing up my mom smoked weed and as a child I hated it. Fast forward when I was a teen I  had a hard time respecting her wishes because  she was no role model in my opinion. I now have a teen daughter and I don't want her to smoke weed. So... I will lead by example period.

I would hope it would. The smell is disgusting, other people do not like the smell of weed, it lingers, it sticks to clothes and furniture. Herb, plant or drug. Unless you're using it for a medical purpose, I think it's just stupid.

As long as it doesn't effect your parenting skills then i don't see a problem. Just don't do it in front of your child. Although you do it doesn't mean you should condone it or show them that it's okay because eventually they can misconstrue it as all drugs are okay. plus you risk getting caught by the law with it. but in the sense of parenting as long as your kids are fed, clothed, loved, educated and asleep or preoccupied then i don't see why you can't do it. i'm not a fan personally but to each their own

It stopped me. I couldn't anymore when I got pregnant cause the smoke itself. Plus I didn't want it to be in my fat cells when I was breast feeding.  Now I don't even think about doing it at all. My kids come before anything but that's just me. More of a phase for me I guess. I know parents who do it after a long day they take a hit. Like how most people have a beer. To each their own.
