baby's fingernails

I've noticed my daughters fingernails grow really fast, and she's scratched herself a few times; and she's scratched me but I'm mainly concerned about her. I know they make baby nail clippers but everyone says they are dangerous considering she's 2 months old. I've gotten told by a lot of people to bite them but that just sounds unsanitary. So my question is, which option is best? I just want to prevent her from scratching her face up so much. Thank you to anyone who helps!
