I got home from work tonight to find a couple of locks on the bathroom floor. He cut off his side curls because "they were getting too long". I'm devastated. Not only did I love those curls, but I feel like his first hair cut has been taken away. I hemorrhaged after my son's birth, so I wasn't able to give him his first bath, go to his first appointment, etc, so I feel like this is just another "first" that I've missed. Plus we were supposed to go get six month pictures tomorrow! I know in the grand scheme of life that this isn't truly anything, but I feel so very sad right now...
