When did you start looking for a pediatrician?

I'm 35 weeks now and I feel like I should have one already. When did you contact one?

I'm 37 weeks and I just picked one and called them earlier this week -thankfully the one I wanted was accepting new patients!

I honestly didn't. The pediatric clinic that was associated with the hospital I gave birth in called me to set up his two week appointment.

My doc told me to find one no later than 30 weeks.

I was 35 weeks when my midwife started pestering me 😏. Glad I did though, took me a while to find a clinic that had everything I wanted. Some things to consider when choosing, can you always get in same day, do the they have an after hours nurse line and will they be retiring soon. Good luck and happy doctor hunting!

The day he was born I picked one randomly lol and decided I'd switch if I didn't like him. There was only like 3 options so yah haha. And I love him.

I'm 23 weeks I am going to be getting appointments set up over the next 8 weeks to interview and meet the doctors so I can pick one. I'm doing early because I don't won't to go 45min to town in snow for a appointment unless absolutely needed
