My husband has literally made this the worst pregnancy I could possibly imagine. He has been unsupportive, emotionally, physically, mentally and most importantly FINANCIALLY. He has done literally nothing but be in a constant power struggle for respect he has not earned and disrespected me at every opportunity he can get. He goes to every midwife appt and literally tells the doctors he is "just here for his daughter" ignore the midwife the whole visit just to say blankly at the end of the appt "So my baby is okay, right?!" The entire staff can sense the tension. We literally sit in the waiting room on opposite ends do not go to appts together and no on even knows we are together until they call my name! So, I have decided to not tell him about my appts anymore and am strongly considering not even allowing him to the birth! Mind you he feels that he should be able to catch our baby as she comes out the womb, while he won't even speak to my stomach!!! Ugh, I am seriously considering filing for divorce which kills me because my daughter is losing her family before she has even had a chance to experience it. However I cannot see myself letting her see me being treated the way I have been and ever feeling that it's alright for a man to treat her this way.
