I'm the fifth of five kids in my family and my first is due Jan 29. I'm super excited. Still, I'm living with my parents at the moment until I get married next fall. My SIL just had their first baby and are here at the house for maybe 2 months total, but I've been noticing how much my mom will judge my SIL's choices. I get that she's had a bunch of kids, but medicine and discoveries have changed in the past 22 years and my mom will NOT accept that. Things the doctor says to do for the baby, mom will freak out over. I'm just nervous that I'll have to handle 8 months of surviving my mom while attempting to find my own parenting style. 😰
