Help, sex dreams!!

So there's a guy I've known for probably 7 years now, and I've had a crush on him for 5 of them. About two years ago we were chill, I gave up on him and started dating other people, but every once in a while a dream about him. I don't know why, he's usually not on my mind except when we occasionally message to say hey.

Well it's been two years since the real crush period and last night I had a sex dream about him. Like, REALLY intense and vivid.

I've been with my current boyfriend over a year and love him to death, but we're long distance and I'm wondering if the lack of sex is doing this to me!? I just need reassurance that this isn't my subconscious! I've had feelings for this other guy but mainly we're just really good friends
