Will you be taking the flu shot while pregnant?

I took it yesterday and about 6 hours later the vomiting and diarrhea started. Today I'm exhausted and still with these symptoms.

The flu shot may make you feel achy (because it's typically injected in the muscle), but it won't make you sick. It can take up to 2 weeks to become effective. It's  likely you came in contact with another virus. Flu symptoms usually include coughing and other symptoms not mentioned. Could be norovirus, which the flu shot does not protect against.

I got it around 28 weeks, I think. No problems whatsoever. I didn't get sick and my arm wasn't even sore. I got the T-dap shot the same day and that s.o.b left a bruised knot in my arm that isn't even gone 5 weeks later.

I've never gotten the flu shot before this and more than likely will never get it again unless I'm pregnant or having my baby during flu season again.

I've never taken it before and I have never had the flu.  Everyone I know who gets it gets the flu every year;  however,  I spoke to my doctor about it and we were discussing the pretty serious consequences to the babies of not getting it and I made the decision to get it for the first time.  It was not bad at all and I had no fly like symptoms following it. I am a teacher so I have a greater level of exposure.

I got mine a few weeks ago and wound up with the rare reaction of getting a little mini flu the day after (light fever, headache, achy  body, etc) - my OB said it happens sometimes - and while I felt terrible, it only lasted about 24 hours.  Feel better!!

I got it at 5 weeks for the first time in my life. It didn't hurt at all and I had no symptoms. No sore arm or anything. You more than likely came in contact with another virus around them same time.
