UTI as early sign of pregnancy?

I got a UTI yesterday, 11/3 after having sex every day during my ovulation cycle 10/28 - 11/2. My husband is telling me that UTI is a sign of pregnancy but I think it's too early to know. I read on here once that youre not actually physically pregnant until after two weeks ? Is that true? If so, is amoxicillin safe to take? Any help is appreciated.. thanks ladies
