I'm 39 weeks and 3 days. Yesterday I got my membrane stripped and I still don't even know if I've had any contractions. I've had some pains and felt a little crampy but I'm not sure. This is my first pregnancy. I feel dumb cause I don't know. People compare them to really bad menstrual cramps and I never really had those that bad. I've had a couple instances where it's felt like I've had a huge side ache and it would hurt to even move. Is this normal?
