Supporting LGTB

Do you believe educating your kids at an early age, maybe 4-6 about the LGTB community would be a good idea? I say yes. Because you can teach them the correct names to use. Like for example: transgender, trans People, and making sure they use the correct pronoun that a person prefers to be called. Explaing what it means to be gay, lesbian, transgender and bi. This way they can advoid hurting someone's feelings. I would make aure they stay away from words like tr*nny, freak, screwed up, gross, contagious. I've heard trangender people being called all of these. What do you guys say? What do you believe?
