why is it hard for men to compromise??????

So, lately I'm stressed out about a few things, and the boyfriend really isn't helping matters… We are talking about the future and places that we want to live and he refuses to live anywhere that is too hot… Which I can understand. Ever, he wants to live in a place that has all four seasons and while I am fine with that there's just one little problem… I have degenerative arthritis in my knee which is going to make a living in the winter extremely painful, I know this already because of a family visit up north. He is still adamant that we need to stay in a place that has winter and overall with a bunch of other topics we go over, I'm just feeling like I'm compromising to meet his needs more so than he is to mine LOL.
