Hopefully someone can help

Hello ladies! Been trying to concieve only 3 months now. My period was due on the 19th of October. On the 16th I started spotting which isn't normal for me. It was not enough to wear a tampon, mostly only there upon wiping. The spotting lasted four days. Been bd every other day since spotting stopping. The day before yesterday I noticed brown blood when wiping. Took a test and i THINK I saw a faint line. I took another today and it was negative. I am still spotting. Anyone had this happen before and gotten bfp? Not sure if my test was positive or evap. Not getting hopes up.
