Bad mother?

My sister is divorced with 3 kids. She has been dating a man (I'm not fond of) for a couple years. She ditches her kids every weekend and leaves them alone on school nights. They are 9, 11 & 17 so the 17 yr old gets stuck watching the younger ones. My mom sent me this text. Do you think this bad parenting? Please excuse my mother's texting lol

Yeah I'm sorry but that mother sounds selfish! I'd absolutely say that's bad parenting by all means especially with the extra stuff you added when commenting to another person. I wish you or your mother could take them on or that she would get her crap together.

17 years old is old enough to babysit and she did pay them to sit it out and its not like there isn't more Halloweens. I hate that she keeps ditching her kids but she just wants attention like everyone else.

Honestly how we feel doesn't matter. I think all you can do is be there for the kids. Because they're the ones missing out.
