So basically she's afraid to move to Texas because of the death penalty and because she believes that if one of our family members we're to get arrested we'd be in prison for a very long time compared to other states. Is this a good reason to be afraid to move to Texas or is she just being paranoid? I have an amazing job opportunity there but I cant move unless I get her on board too. Shes always been paranoid while I say you should just live life. You cant prevent bad things from happening so whats the point of being obsessed with worrying? Anyone have some advice on how to convince her?

Edit: we're the furthest thing from criminals lol when I mentioned this to her she agreed but said, "you think they'll care about that?" (Meaning that if we we're to get falsely accused then we'd have no chance of being released) ugh....
