No TWW?

Is it common to NOT have a two week wait?  I just looked at my paper work and I need to do my blood test at 9 days.

With IVF, the beta is done 14 days from egg retrieval as the egg retrieval is equalivant to ovulating in a natural cycle in which you would test 14 days past ovulation or in this case 14 days since the egg retrieval.

We transferred a 5 day blastocyst Thursday and my RE said for me to do my blood test 14 days later. I've heard some women having theirs done after 9 days. I guess it depends on the doctor and hospital. Baby dust to you all!

I think 9 dpo is still early. However I've read that beta tests can definitely detect early pregnancy accurately, but at 9 dpo it's still possible that you haven't implanted yet and you won't get a BFP of you haven't implanted yet. I find it odd being tested that early, but that's just me.

The 21 day progesterone test is to check your progesterone levels not to tell if you're pregnant which is what the tww is. Two different things.
