Nipple piercings and Breastfeeding??😕

Really curious about this.

I've had my nipples pierced for almost two years and I'm 6months pregnant. I'm going to breastfeed, But I'm wondering how will that work out?? Is anyone doing it now? Do you put them back in after each feeding?? I know of course to never leave them in during feedings, but did it work out for any other moms? I switched to my original longer bars to accommodate my nips growing, so they are in great shape. I breastfed my daughter so I'm familiar with the process, this just seems like it may be a bit much. I'm wondering if I may just have to let them possibly close. My doctor was pretty vague lol she just said make sure I remove them during nursing and pumping.. That's common sense to me😑😂 Any tips? Experiences?

I had mine Pierced through my pregnancies. Take them out and clean before feeding. The only problem I had was my left nipple collapsed. So it was hard to get that one to work. I eventually left them out. 
But in hindsight as much as I loved them. I should have never done it. I should have thought ahead.

I had had my nipple pierced for almost 9 years and was facing this same question. I ultimately chose to take the piercing out and let the hole close. My son isn't born yet, but the dr has said the nipple looks good and like it should be just fine to nurse. Hope that helps! Good luck momma!!

I had mine pierced then took it out 3months pregnant she wouldnt latch to that boob once born had other one done 4 years ago an have taken it out as trying to conceive and i want to breast feed so itll prob close up xx
