Is it possible that the test line is as dark as the control line at only one day late?

On a pregnancy test, the test line doesn't have to be as dark or darker than the control line. If you can see the line at all it's positive.

My test line was darker than the control line 3 days before my missed period! It's possible. It all depends on when implantation occured.
