birth control question.
This is probably a dumb question.
So I was on birth control for a while and this summer I just never called to renew my prescription. I was on it because my periods are SO bad and my cramps are awful. After being off of it for a while everything seemed fine, my cramps weren't bad. But my period started yesterday/this morning and it is AWFUL. I seriously want to throw up and cry because of this pain.
Should I call my doctor and ask to be put back on it? I don't think they know that I got off of it but they never called to renew my prescription or to ask if I wanna renew it, or even call for a check up. I don't want my doctor to be mad I didn't tell them I stopped taking it or anything 😂 but the month that I went to pick the pills up they just weren't renewed or refilled or whatever. What should I do about this?
