TTC after Skyla! What to expect?
Hi guys!
New here- I'm Katie, 32 and a newlywed (Oct 22!), TTC for my first pregnancy (I have a 4 yr old stepson who is MY WORLD, and he's pretty excited to have a sibling someday).
I had my Skyla removed after 1.5 years on November 2, and started bleeding today (November 5)- about 8 days before I normally start.
I continued to get periods while on Skyla, though they were very light. This one is a MONSTER though. All bright red, minimal clotting, so I can tell it's a healthy beast of a period and not just "old blood" or anything. I also have some pretty intense cramping, definitely feels like my periods used to.
Is this an actual period, do you think? Or just removal bleeding? Trying to nail down my fertile window, but this threw a wrench in my guesswork!
Has anyone had a similar experience?
