Marriage is important to me. To me, it's not just a piece of paper. It's not just a legal document that binds us. It's a promise, a commitment, a vow, and a special bond that brings us together as one. Marriage is forever in my eyes. Good things my SO agrees as well. We are engaged and I couldn't be happier. Our ultimate goal is to be a family. Forever and always. As cliche and cheesy and full of shit as it may seem, it's true.

I don't plan on ever being married. 
I don't care to be married and if I ever do, it will be because he wants to marry me. He actually said something about that today, he said he wants to be able to pay for a nice ring for me but I will not have a wedding, I despise weddings, it would be a courthouse thing with a nice ring. That's it. 
For now we love eachother and we just want to be with eachother. We're almost at 3 years now, holy crap like in 2 months it will be 3 years. I just realized that 😂

I think it's totally ok to never be married and to just live together and be happy. 
But at the same time I'm a sappy romantic who wants a wedding, especially for my family to attend, mainly my grandma although she's more worried about me having great grandbabies for her to spoil before she croaks. 
It's all about what works for your relationship. If you don't need the ceremony and court papers then that's what's good for you. 
Other people want the wedding and the signed papers, also those sick tax deductions yo👌
