lust over love or what is it ?

There's this guy we're gonna call him Tim .. well I've dodged Tim for about 2 years now I moved to Texas and so did he we never seen each other but you know we kept contact with each other to see how we were.. so now we're both back in our hometown and we hung out about three times all three times we had sex .. I know I've dodged him in the past but now I really like Tim like ALOT !!! He says he doesn't want a relationship cause once you give a girl the "girlfriend title " she starts nagging which is so true we do .. we hung out last night and we talked well he said that he really likes me too and he tired of being a "hoe " but he's where I'm confused he said " I want a Bestfriend more then anything and where ever our feelings take us then that's where it takes us but he's in no rush " but he likes me a lot and he said so do I give up or do I just wait and see where it goes I want to give him a chance but if we're going to be in that " talking stage then idk I'll loose interest fast and plus he's a really bad texter .. I know he doesn't talk to any other females but me he works gym then home and he sleeps most of the time but I don't want my time wasted what should I do ladies !!!
